DIY Snowman Wreath

by Tiff on December 12, 2012

I saw this idea floating around the internet, and wanted to make my own. I found wreaths of different sizes at a store for only $2.50 each, but I did also see the smaller size wreaths at the Dollar Tree! The Larger wreath I purchased at Walmart for only $4. All the other supplies I had on hand.

Items Needed:
3 wreaths in different sizes
Small strand of lights
Strong Floral Wire
Wire cutters
Snowman accessories

It is very simple. It took me about 5 minutes. Simply wire the wreaths together, then wrap all 3 pieces in lights. Hang your wreath and put the accessories on him!

ps – the top 2 wreaths I have shown are the same size, I just tied the scarf around tightly and squished the branches of the wreath in a bit to give the illusion it is smaller.
Now this beauty is hanging outside on my front porch wall. How do you decorate cheaply for the Holidays?

It does look like Mickey Mouse when she had it laid out :-)
There’s another cute idea!

Yes! When I took that picture, I sent it to my sister (she and I are both Disney fanatics) and said… hmm, should I make Mickey or a Snowman? I did not have enough room for the big Mickey Head to put it anywhere or I would have made a Mickey Wreath!

I know! If only I had room for the head, I only had enough room for it to hang Vertically. :( Maybe next year I will do a Mickey shaped one and put a bow for Minnie!
