My friends call me St. Nick. I could have Christmas All. Year. Long. I love, love, love it! We have many family traditions during this time of year. One of those being the famous Elf On The Shelf. We had our Elf on the Shelf before they were even cool.
Alfonso has been a part of our family for quite some time now. During the Christmas Holiday time, he has lots of fun in our house. In case you are not familiar with Elf ON The Shelf, every family has an elf, sent from Santa. He watches you all year long and reports to Santa on your behavior. You can not touch him, or he will loose his North Pole Magic. At night, he flies back to the North Pole, and will be back in your house before you wake up, in a new spot to be found.
For the past several years, I have posted daily on facebook what Alfonso is up to each morning, so many of my friends have loved it so much, they have adopted their own elves at Adoption stores! I believe there must be a message board at the North Pole where Alfonso gives his tips and tricks, because I have read of many other elves now playing his games.
Alfonso made his grand arrival the other morning, complete with a Elfy Breakfast! He had the entire dining room decorated, and table set, ready for our family to enjoy some yummy treats!
He brought yummy treats from the North Pole, and even had labels in his Elf hand writing, so we would know the proper North Pole names for the foods. We call them powdered donuts, they call them Snownuts!
We were so thrilled by Alfonso’s arrival, and the dining room looked amazing. I am so glad he left the decorations for me to add to my collection! I especially love the cute Santa Hat Chair covers!
It was a LOT of fun…even if mom did not get to sleep in…( sleep in..what’s that???) And what Christmas Elfy Breakfast would be complete without pancakes and sausage???
Stay Tuned to see what Alfonso is up to daily through Christmas!
