Magic Easter Jellybeans

by Tiff on April 4, 2012

The other day, when the kids and I got home, there were 4 packets of Magic Jelly Bean Seeds laying on our kitchen counter. We have no clue how they got there. Out in the open, all alone. We were puzzled.

On the front, a religious poem with all the colors of the jellybeans:
Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the edge of night.
Black is for the sins we made.
White is for the grace He gave.
Purple is for His hour of sorrow.
Pink is for our new tomorrow.
Magic jelly beans, Colorful and Sweet
They are a prayer, his promise, a wonderful treat!

* Print on cardstock, then fold like a seed pouch envelope. Tape and pour in jelly beans*

We decided to plant them and see what would happen. Off we went, to the front flower bed to dig out holes, and plant our beans.

Gave them a little water…and the next day this is what we found.

Magic Lollipops, yummy too!

hint – These really large swirly lollipops are only $1 at Party City, and Dollar General. I am sure other places have them too. I highly suggest unwrapping them and putting them in cellophane bags. Bar codes don’t grow in the ground! The magic fairy also may want to buy a couple of extras. In case any break or crumble after taking off wrapper.
