Baked Beans could almost be a staple in the Taff house. We all love them, and they can be my go to dish when we are invited to a cook out. Until recently, I thought everyone knew how to make baked beans… but that’s not so. Therefore, I thought I would share with you my recipe for baked beans.
I use 2 cans of Pork N Beans. ( I prefer Van Camps, but who am I to pass up good sales)
Pour your beans into a baking dish
I like to add a little chopped onion and bell peppers into my beans, but these are optional.
Add about 1/4 cup of Brown Sugar (or a little more never hurts)
Squeeze ketchup into your beans (I usually give the bottle 2 – 3 BIG LONG squeezes)
Bake at 400 for about 30 minutes, or until the top starts to caramelize, and the edges get gooey.
