Zebra Paint Kitchen Table Redo

by Tiff on September 25, 2012

A personal friend of mine posted a picture (on facebook)  of her kitchen table she found out thrifting and decided to give it an awesome makeover. As soon as I saw the picture, I knew I had to share it with my readers! I think this is the ultimate makeover.

Ashely paid $35 for the table AND 6 chairs. She purchased a little paint, and brushes (the teal color on is Behr “intense teal”) for only $46, and has herself a customized table that would have cost hundreds! AHHHH, the joys of thrifting and makeovers. She said her home looks like Goodwill, but after seeing here projects, I highly disagree. She may purchase items at Goodwill, but after she is done with it, it looks like custom furniture!

Y’all. If this table could talk, I would picture it as the Armoire wardrobe in Beauty and the Beast…so excited to come back to life!

That wood stain had nothing on these teal curves. It makes my heart go Pitter Patter*

Liking nothing to match, only to coordinate, she knows how to design on a dime!

So tell me, do you shop second hand? Have you ever refinished a product to save money? I know I have!
